*yawn* – dammit im stuffed, i need to spend some time at home just doing nothing. Im getting into that mood where im sick of doing stuff, i just want to sit at home and do my own thing. Oh well, it will come i spose. OOO! Happy Easter!.. yay!, hrrrmmm and im sitting in my work office checking my email.. *damn phone line – damn primus – damn*

Oh well, its the start of a 4 day long weekend, so i guess i better make the most of it, if i get in today and get everything done that needs to be, then that should leave me with at least 3 days to do some stuff, and just stuff around… yup, thats the plan.

ooo!, I got a little pakage from Hebba yesterday. yay!, had lots of cool stuff in it, cds, books, he he, its cool, and it had an airport network card for my ibook yay!, anyway ive already got stuff organised to send back.. he he

damn im getting hungry… but im kinda lazy today, looking forward to the weekend, ive still got tiling to do, but im not going to do that all weekend, i need time to do my own stuff. Maybe ill do some tomorrow and saturday and stay at home on sunday and monday, ive gotta do washing and clean my place, ive got an inspection early next month.

Sitting at work again… just finished filling out my WWDC scholorship application, which is cool… i can stop worrying now… its in the hands of fate.. *sigh*

Finished off a cocoa app last night out of the first book i have, its great!, mainly cause i kinda threw the book aside and tried to implement the functions myself, and i did ok. A few places were a little tricky, but overall i was happy… cocoa is cool!!!

Still eating easter eggs.. he he, damn they are nice!, ive just been munching on the Red Tulip ones… ill get into the cadbury ones a bit later… prooabably end up with fat pimples… he he, oh well…. its easter dammit! (nearlly)

mmm, its 12pm!… I should go home and have some lunch – check my mail *he he* and watch some quality american tv show – yup you guessed it – JERRY SPRINGER!, sheesh that show makes me laugh… *sigh*

Today has been kinda slow, did some work related asp stuff this morning, but that got done quicker then i thought it would. I go back tomorrow morning for a bit as well, but thats cool..

I have easter eggs!, went shopping and bought some red tulip ones and cadbury ones… *likes chocolate*… been munching on them since i got them .

Im sittting on hold at the moment, typing this with one hand… im trying to find out when my phone will be connected again… its over a week now.. must soon be done.

mmm, anyway…I started looking up info for my phd, im in the mood to get into it, so i thought id go with it while i felt like it, cause no doubt there will be times when i dont feel like doing it, so i better get ahead a bit.
Im lookin forward to the long weekend, ill probably just stuff around doing somthing at home, might go for a drive, but i dunno yet.

Just handed in my phd forms.. *sigh*, its like a releif, but its cool, ive started looking at the related stuff and gethering information. I dont know if ill get a funded position yet, but im pretty confident he he.

I will apply for wwdc tomorrow when i get a net connection again and have the stuff, ive already written some stuff down for it, but ive gotta apply online…

Im feeling kinda good, busy, but i like busy, especially productive busy, i hate watsing my time or sitting and doing nothing.

god, its saturday night and im out at the uni with a friend. I have been tiling most of the day and am buggered, sheesh im unfit… anyway…

my blog is a bit lonely at the moment, this little stint without a phone/net access is killing me for sure, damn…. Ive been flying through cocoa though, which is good.

*tired*, So much stuff goin on, i need to get it all sorted, Ill get my phd forms underway on tuesday after seeing my supervisor on monday, once those are in i will apply for wwdc, *sigh* and wait.

Im looking at a new bag for my ibook, check out STM for a look. Im not sure which one to get, i was gunna get one of the original ‘alley’ ones, but i had a look in the shops and they are too small, like theres not enough room to carry other stuff.. anyway, at the moment i am ummming and ahhhing over the smaller ‘parachute’ type one. I think it would be the go.

While i was in the shop i noticed they had a heap of new posters up so i asked what happened to the old ones and she told me they through them out!!! arrrr!!!!!, so anyway i told her id like em to hang around and stuff, and she went out the back and got me a big flash new imac poster *sigh*, ha ha lol *damn im a geek*…

I heard from a friend that some people have been given their WWDC scholoships over in america, mmmm thats pretty cool, i have to wait a bit longer yet… *sigh*

*yawn* sitting in the office here at work and its boring… waitng till tuesday to see a client… Am doing lots of cocoa stuff though which is cool.

Some company toy things come today – hats, pocket knives, cups, keyrings, and little squishy stress balls… ive been juggling a few and bouncing them off the wall, it kinda passes the time.

mmm im getting hungry, ill have to eat soon, i think ill go for a drive somewhere and have a look around.. see what dvds are out lately… i havnt got any new dvds in a while…

Sent an email to my phd supervisor, he needs to sign some forms for me… time is getting away, i need to have them in before the end of this month to apply for wwdc… mmmmm, oh well, it will happen some way or another.

whew!, back in rockhampton now… I got back yesterday and found out my phone is disconected… bleh.. long story, anyway its going to take 5 days to reconnect it, so im without a phone/internet connection till then. Luckily i have some connections at uni, so i steal a lan connection every so often ,which does the job.

Got a copy or warcraft 3 beta today, damn it looks sweet!, cant wait for it to come out. Ill buy it for sure. Blizzard are alwyas good with their games, and always release a mac version at the same time as they release the PeeCee version. So i buy most Blizzard games…

I need to go food shopping, i have very little food at home which bites, and my house is a mess and dusty and yucky… mmmm, but i got lots of stuff done today which has been kinda overdue since ive been in townsville. I rang a client today about some web work and he cant see me till next tuesday so thats cool, i can get some other shit done before i move into my next job.

Im haging out to hand in my phd, i god another referee for it today, so all i have to do is get my supervisor to sign it and hand it in!, then i can apply for the wwdc scholorship thing…. *sigh*

Been playing motoracer 3 as well, cant get below 1 minute on the first speed track… sheesh, i think the lowest i have is about 1:01 or somthing like that… god is annoying…. arrrr, mmm, but back in the real world….

Been backing up a few cds today, and cleaning out my hardrive… damn windows xp crashed… the network drivers for my RealTek 8129 network card are buggy… i emailed realtek but all i got was “the drivers are certified by microsoft” bullshit… and send them an uly reply… damn i hate that…

so now i my netowkr card doesnt work… bastard…

What a bitch of a day… all i had to do today was send a webpage that was zipped up to a client… but it took me all friggen day to do it… for startes i tried sending the 13mb file through email (yeah stooopid idea, but hey, i thought id at least try), anyway the tried finding a free ftp site to put it on, but couldnt find any, i signed up for a few free webpages that said they had free ftp, but i got no reply… so god knows what sort of spam/porn ill get in my email now sheesh

I was also meant to have my pay review, but that didnt happen, as usual he ran out of time and had to go, but he told me he would prefer to do it when i get back to rocky, and said it would be better for me if i wanted a raise… I though – well duh!, of course i want a raise… as usual i didnt know how to take it, he could be bullshitting to me, ill wait for 2 weeks and see what sort of raise i get…

And then after that, i found out that i dont have to be here on monday to hand the webpage over, apparently they are going somewhere and looking at it… but in the end i offered to stay for the weekend and if there is nothing from them on monday i will go, which is cool cause i get to drive back in their time not mine…

So i have a weekend of not worrying about anything, which should be cool… i find somthing to do… mmmm my pizza in the oven smells ok, im getting sick of precooked food… yuck… cant wait to get back and cook my own food…

Still reading cocoa books, im churning through them now, its not that hard, about the toughest thing is trying to find the classes etc etc to do what you want to do… mmm

I found out today that i can still apply for my phd without any worries so thats good, ill have to do that first theing when i get back and then get my wwdc application in, mmm im going to be cutting it fine but i think it will be cool. That reminds me that i have some stuff i have to do for my phd, a bit of research to do, i wish i was enrolled again so i could go to the uni and download the shit, its too slow over a modem…

I found out the other day that i downloaded about 1gig last month through dial-up, which was pretty good i though, you gotta lurrrrvvvee primus unlimited internet. I wanna get ADSL or somthing, but its a bit expensive and the 3 gig limit wouldnt be enouhg for my i dont think. arrrrrr ill have to wait i guess.

geeeez this bog is boring, its always about my job, or cocoa, or my phd or wwdc LOL… mmm well i guess that describes me in one…

gee, blogger is back up again!.. mmmm well another week is gone, got a lot done today at work. I think i will go clos to getting it done this weekend. That way i can bum around a bit before i go back home. Im kinda excited about my salary review, ive got a good feelign, even though everyone has said the raise wont be much, mmm ill wait and see.
I havnt been doing a lot, other then work lately, i plan on chaging that when i get back home. Having had time to sit and do nothing… and i hate that, i like being able to just sit and think. Oh well….
Still looking forward to wwdc (hopefully i can go), and also doing my phd… it looks pretty funky. *sigh*, i just dont wanna be sitting around doing nothing, i want to be learning stuff and doing new things, not stuck in one job doing the same thing over and over.
I got an email today about a job at the people that make Interarachy for the mac, so i might check it out…
