hrmmm, just got back from going out. Met up with a few school friends down at the local RSM club, which was cool. Met all the respective girlfriends and everything.. it was neat. Talked about stuff in general, what everyones been doing etc etc…. Its funny how coming back and talking to everyone comes a lot easier then i remember at school.. oh well.. it was fun.

Tomorrow is Christmas day!, wow, another year almost gone. Time to reflect… but i think that will come when i get back to Rocky and can sit and have a think. Should be some good blog material com out of that. Its good being home, ive had time to just do nothing basically, sit around talking to my mum and dad and sisters.

Somthing came out of nowhere teh toher day while i was sitting with notepad open…

An innocence,
presented outwardly through radiant eyes.
Grasping and sparkling,
with a cuteness to boot.
Engaging yet shy.

A soft touch with gentle hands,
a slight scent on a walk-by breeze.
Alluring gestures,
with an essence of sunshine.
Shining. and warming the dark.

Obviously there is somthing more to this then meets the eye, but as yet im not too sure… I get urges to write so this time i decided to and thats what came out. I havnt done that in ages, i used to do it a lot, just sit and write and see what comes out. I rekcon ill work more on it and see what happens. Amazing what small little things can trigger off spurts of creativeness lol

I might go to the boxing day races as well, not that horse racing interests me that much but everyone is heading to that and it should be cool to just sit around again talking and stuff..

ok, i think ill head to bed now. I want to get up fairly early tomorrow morning… got lots to do.

So im back down south at the moment, decided last thursday that i would come back for xmas after sitting at the flat bored stupid for the day. Left Rockhampton at around 6am friday morning and travelled to Brisbane to pick up my uncle then continued on to Inverell, got here at around 7pm Firday night… wasnt a bad trip, almost hit another roo just out of rocky which scared the crap out of me, but apart from that it was ok.

So im spending christmas here then heading back to rocky early in Januray, which should be cool.

oh well, only a quick blog for this time…

got my car back again today… paint is good now after they painted it the wrong color.. idiots… oh well, a quick call to the insurance people fixed that…

woah… things are good… Im a different person… different then i was before.. Ive noticed a big change the last few days that are directly related to the crap i went through with my last girlfriend. Well not directly related, but directly inversly related.. ie. the bad has turned into good… Im noticing a big increase in confidance, not that i wasnt confidant before, but now i feel i am confidant and also a lot more outgoing.

It seems now that what i experienced before with my ex girlfriend was no where near like what a relationship should be, what love should be and also not even close to being related to the term “love”. Lust maybe… yeah definately a little lust and maybe a big hearty does of stupidity and nievity (spelling?), but definately not love…

Ive finally got that “tingle” again… the tingle that makes you want to do stuff and generally live life… get out there amongst it so to speak, not that a geek boy like me gets out amongst it a lot, but you know what i mean. (hopefully).

arrr what a pain when you have so much to write, but nowhere near the vocabulary to spit it out… *bleh bleh*

On a more ‘down to earth’ note…. found out today that my grandfather is getting moved back home from Brisbane cause he is too weak to have any more kemotheropy and they have given him 2 months to live. Damn cancer is a bitch, i would have sworn he would out lasted everyone, he was always the one out and about on the farm doing things and keeping busy and then suddenly it just grabs on and things turn bad. Id have to say that the fact that he cant get out of bed that well and cant get out and do stuff would be driving him crazy. It may even be the thing, that in the end causes him to ‘cross over’.

Life is a strange thing, it has its ups and downs, with the odd sideways motion, things happen yet overall we ultimately are born into a body and in the end leave it. But somthing tells me that the things we do along the way has an affect on the ultimate outcome. Its not about money, or possesions or ‘notches on your belt’, but more about how you have carried youself in the ‘life tests’ that have so graciously fallen into your lap at random stages of your ‘journey’.

In a way it is worrying, but in an even greater way i find it exciting, and tomorrow is always another day…….

Well im still without my car, apparently the bonnet they got to replace it was in crap condition, so they sent off to melbourne for a brandy newy. The problem is as of last week they had ‘misplaced’ it… hrmmm makes ya wonder really

Getting used to this walking around business, wandered down to harvey norman on saturday mornin, was cool. Fired up the iPod and before i knew it i was there. Ive got a list of stuff ive gotta do when i get my car back, general stuff from the shops and that. Also i reckon ill go for a drive down the beach… amazing how much i miss driving!

Watched the extended version of lord of the rings on friday night, the added bites actually add a fair bit to it, its cool. Cant wait for the next one to come out on boxing day. Hopefully ill get to see it, but i may be down south somewhere for chrsitmas, i dunno yet.. hrmmm as usual ill wait and see what happens

Still fixing up stuff for last terms results, seems that 83 final results were ‘entered incorrectly in the database’.. humpf! so i had to manually go back and check EVERY mark Apart from that, i have started monitoring mailing lists for spring / summer subjects, its cool. Basically just answer outstanding questions that students have asked. At the moment i am trying to get up to speed with the assignments and stuff, also gotta get a copy of the texts and stuff so i dont tell them something that isnt right lol

Thats it, things are cool. Gramps is still in Brisbane hospital, still geting radiation treatment. I get mixed stories from everyone, so ill have to wait till i go down there again to see for myself. Pop is going good again, just sits in bed all day apparently and yells out every so often wondering if anyones around

righto.. time to find somthing to do… hrmmm spose ill watch this dodgy bruce willis / sarah jessica parker movie
