Damn, its been almost a month since my last blog!
Ive been doing lots, the usual uni stuff – marking and so forth.
Working on a cool OS X app with a friend that is going to rock, cant say much at the moment but it moving along nicely, wont be long and we will have a 1.0 release

I got a new machine at uni!, Dual 1.2ghz G4, 1gig ram, superdrive!, damn its speedy, and the 17inch apple studio display is amazing! I burnt off a dvd this morning, a video some friends took when they were in Europe, damn its easy and they look sweet!.

Might be heading off the Brisbane tomorrow, have a look around. Driving down with Melanie, probably stay at friends places. It should be cool, only for a few days. Gotta be back by the weekend to get my marking done.

other then that, not much is going on, ive been busy doing stuff and keeping busy. hrmmm I dont got much else to say really.

My powerbook still wobbles, its a pain. Im waiting to hear back from the apple dude, ive actually gotta drop it in so they can take pictures of it or somthing to send to apple… *shrugs* damn its a pain.

My powerbook gets hot… and i dont mean in the ‘damn that girl is hot’ way. I mean it gets really really hot on the left hand side and also underneath.
Ive looked on the web and it seems to be a common ‘problem’. Another thing is that it has a ‘wobble’, it doesnt sit level on the desk – one corner wobbles between its edges. This really annoys me, i took it back to mthe shop and they fixed it by bending it back the otherway – they told me that was the way apple repaired it, but low and behold a few days later it is wobbling again. It seems to get worse with the heat as well. *sigh* So im waiting to hear back from the shop – who said they would ring me last week but didnt. Ill ring again on monday and take it back – do the usual ’send back and wait a friggen long time’ for it to be returned.

I read somewhere thqat the very first batch had these problems, so i think i might jsut puch for a newer one – one from the newer batches. *sigh*

Apart from that, things are ok. Still doing the same stuff. Uni is going good. Ive started coding again – serious coding, in java and cocoa. Java is for my phd stuff, cocoa is for the fun of it. Got some nifty ideas for programs so ill see how they go.

*sigh* Sitting and watching tv, not much on. I might whack a dvd in, or maybe ill go to uni and sit. hrmmm dunno.

righto, enough of this… i need to find somthing to do.
