lifeofgeek.com – pretty funny site, check out the Original LifeOfGeek emails, some of those are pretty funny – for geeks… other people will probaly read, screw up their face and mumble somthing like “damn geeks”….

*stands before attentive audience*
Just got my payslip back and guess what!

*audience screams “WHAT!?”*
The uni have stuffed up again

*crowd boos and someone hisses*
Yep, the payslip i have doesnt have the right amount on it, and i cant figure out how the hell the hourly units on the pay slip relate at all to the timesheet amounts.

*crowd boos again – obviously very annoyed*
Its true… so that means i have to venture upstairs tomorrow and sort this out – again… A month doesnt seem to go bye with out having to go upstairs and complain or fix up a stuff up that someone in finance has done.

*crowd screams – “but thats not right”*
Yeah i know, but im afraid thats the way it is as a part time staff member at CQU.

*oh*

    Well said. The part time employees are the most important. Too bad no such recognition is given.
