Found some really cool blogs today that ill add to a links type thingy on here, also found some neato pictures to add too, but that will come later when i get a chance to play with it.

Went to a public key encryption talky thing today. Was pretty good. related to what im doing which was neat. I need somthing like that every so often to get me motivated to do work.

Found a sweet Pearl Jam bootleg site too!. Heard that ‘youve got to hide your lvoe away’ cover they did of an old beetles song a while back and only just got around to googling it. Gotta love how its legal to bootleg pearl jam stuff

Sooooo, i go and chek my medical cover, all is good i kinda had the right idea, but while i was there i asked why i had been given 2 MBF cards. The woman looked at me weird and did some typing then informaed me that one was dead. She asked me why i i had it and i told her that they gave it to me when i got ambulance cover. She screwed up her face and said that i didnt need extra ambulance cover cause i already had it in my current policy.. *doh!* So to cut a long story short, when i went to ask about ambulance cover last time, so silly woman told me i needed it and gave me another card, when i already had cover… gotta love paying for the same thing 3 times… *sigh*

Got my xrays back, tomorrow ive gotta drop them back to the other dentist and get a referral, then pick that up and drop it back over to the surgeon dude… fun fun After that it should be peachy.

Found another job to apply for. Looks pretty swish, doing cold fusion, which i can handle after doing a bit on my stint in townsville with the old company. Also gotta get my scholorship thingy filled out properly and hand it in. But that should be easy cause ive got 3/4 of it done.

Busy but things are going ok…

Went to see the dental surgeon today, was the best appointment ive had in ages. Got there, straight in, he was straight to the point, explained everything, asked me when i want it done and booked me in

I go in next friday (not this week). I could have had it done this week but mum wouldnt have liked that since she wouldnt be here… oh well. I dont see the big deal but she wants to be here.

I go in at 6am to the private hospital, have it done and head home the same day. Thats good, i dont want to stay in hospital. Surgeon said will be sore for 2-3 days, but after a week it should be back to normal. Just gotta have a checkup afterwards to make sure its all good.

Damn, gotta go back and get my xrays and check my medical cover… *sigh* let the running around begin

Spent most of today doing a selection criteria and fixing up my resume… its a tough job but someone has to do it.

Ive got the sore tooth thing under control, 2 herron tablets every 4-6 hours and im in ‘no pain’ land.

Went and saw the finance people, seems that one of the timesheets i took up ‘got lost’ somewhere. Seems weird to me since both were taken up at the same time and date and one went through and one has been lost. Most of the nobs in finance would probably lose their heads if they wenrnt screwed on. its a good thing i learnt my lesson and photocopy every timesheet i take up. Maye i should start submitting 2 copies of everything, or maybe submit a copy every day of the week leading up to the cut off date… wonder then if they could not lose it… bleh

Was watching survivor pearl islands last night and i cant help but laugh. All these people stuck on an island freezing their arses off – funny stuff. got to thinking about it and i remember seeing somewhere a dude heated up rocks in the fire, buried them and then slept on the warm sand to keep warm. I wonder how that would work. Be worth a try i rekon, instead of sitting around shivering…

oh well, i was gunna write something really insightful – but i forgot… thems the breaks i guess…

Yep, the payslip i have doesnt have the right amount on it, and i cant figure out how the hell the hourly units on the pay slip relate at all to the timesheet amounts.

Its true… so that means i have to venture upstairs tomorrow and sort this out – again… A month doesnt seem to go bye with out having to go upstairs and complain or fix up a stuff up that someone in finance has done.

For the good of mankind, i have decided to go under the knife and donate my wisdom teeth to humanity (that, and the fact that the bastards are killing me and i dont want no teeth that cant chew stuff and not be sore).

Went to the dentist today, a different bloke from that dodgy one i went to a few weeks ago. Anyway, he took one look at my redened back left wisdom tooth and gum and said – yep, all four are coming out. So he gave me a shit load of papers to go get some pills for the soreness and also to get an xray. He also gave me a card to the oral surgeon to go see. So ive had the xray and got some green pills that taste weird and apparently cause vomiting and all is good.

Damn tooth is throbbing… im sitting here gargling salt water, and just took some pain killers… the sooner these things get out the better. I go see the surgeon dude on wednesday.. all will be good.

In the mean time, i will be relying on my faithful supply of nurofen plus to help me sleep. Didnt sleep much at all last night, took some aspirin but they didnt last long so im going after the heavy stuff tonight…. *sigh* nurofen with codine is my friend…

Downloaded some cool stuff, havnt really looked what it is yet but im sure its good. One file is apparently the source code to half life 2 that was leaked the other day, so im keen to have a looky at that – even thought i wont understand it.

Sunday already… Went and had a bbq at mt Archer yesterday with some people. Wasnt too shabby. Got harrased by birds but i guess ya get that. Went and watched the ‘Fire in the Sky’ thingo on the river bank, not too bad, but it finished real early so we all went bowling which was ok. I bowled like shit and did somthing to my foot… oh well it’ll be right.

Today is Melanies birthday!, we went to the markets this morning, Theres a dude there that sells some kick arse knives and swords. Im so tempted… have to hold myself back
We also went up to the zoo again, seems like a weekly event going to the famous infamous rocky zoo. The baby koala was very lively and climbing around, so was the alligator. The silly monkies where lazy as usual.

Gunna go and eat somewhere tonight. Im leaving it up to Melanie to pick cause last time i did a crap job at picking and we ended up eating and being surrounded by screaming singing kids… joy…

Thats about it. Ive gotta go to the dentist again next week and sort out my damn teeth… damn its annoying… also have to apply for jobs and apply for postgrad scholorship thing and also look like i have done some work on it last week… *sigh*

Paid rent today! Painful experience as well, seems everyone is out to annoy me on the roads today. Oh well.

Worked out what melanie is getting for her birthday. I dislike birthdays due to the massive problems i have picking ‘the perfect’ gift for people. *sigh* I find it really really difficult.

Got my resume all updated, i think ill apply for all those jobs and see what happens. Bought a little guide dog thingo off a lady at the mall, she looked lonely cause noone was buying anything so i did. She went on to explain to me why the little dogs have L plates on it and the bigger ones have the leash things. I stood there attentively whilst she went through it all. Seemed to make her day to be able to tell someone her extensive knowledge of guide dogs. *shrugs*

Its only early, and my head is still trying to wake up. Gots to go pay rent today, and chase up some other stuff. Man i feel like a coke already…. bleh… why not…

Right!, back from the damn emplyment place. Talk about somewhat painful. Took me like an hour to fill out some forms… *sigh* Oh well, means i have a job seeker ID now when i apply for jobs through the employment agencies.

Just found out my younger sister has a job next year. She got some good marks or somthing and has been basically allocated a position, so she doesnt have to go searching next year. Apparently its in Sydney or somthing. Good news.

Its melanies birthday on Sunday, I wonder what Brett should get her ?

Reading the rumour sites – apparently panther will be out very soon. Good stuff! I should get a copy sent to me woohooo!. Also found out the WWDC dvd set should be arriving soon.

Put a timesheet in today, also found out that i get backpay which is cool too. Dunno if i got paid today or not yet, gotta go to the bank to find out.

Been iSighting all morning with Augustina and all the other people at her place. Got a sore mouth from laughing so much.

Gotta go see the job place this arvo some time. Damn im hungry. Time to go get something to eat…

Been working on my resume, seems like a never ending job. I think its all up to date again. Decided that ill send off my resume to anything that looks vagely good. In a way im being picky in what i apply for. I guess its silly in some respects but i really dont want to get stuck in some job that will just run me into the ground. I dont want a job that i do ‘jsut for money’ i want a job that i get somthing out of. Im going to spend 8 horus a day doing it so im not going to get somthing that isnt enjoyable. bleh….

Gotta stick around till 6 today, got a lecture to do from 5-6. Wednesday is good for me, its the end of all the reading and preperation for tutes and lectures. Means ive got thursdy and friday to do other stuff im meant to be doing like PHD stuff. The bad bit is i dont get paid for that. *yet*

Ive got a real urge to blog lately, this website is cool. Im going to spend some time getting it more sorted out as well.

Mac Tech Monkey Job

Worth a try i guess. I reckon i could handle a tech monkey job for a while if it was mac stuff.
Just been helping my sister with a webpage she has to do for uni. Not too tricky but its tough if you havnt done any web stuff before.
Got a tute in 30mins. Only a few weeks left of the term. Havnt heard back about any uni jobs so im not sure what im going to do. I have to go see a lady at the employment place about some work to tied me over *sigh* If all else fails i guess i can go tiling

Ive got to do up a good place holder for the main website. At first i thought that my blog would be like a side part of my site, but now im not sure. *sigh* Decisions decisions. I guess i gotta jsut figure out what im gunna do and do it. Id like to have a forum type thing going too.. hrmmmm so much to do.. so little money/time.

I found out this b2 blog thing lets you setup accounts for other people. i.e. You can let people post to your blog instead of just giving comments. Interesting concept, but i dont think there enough people who read this to have multiple posters… hrmmmm comments? anyone?
