Marking…. *sigh*

Yep, im doing it again. I know ive probably written many times before that im not doing any more marking, but the time has come again when i am.

The good thing it its only a small amount, ive actually turned down a lot of marking work and also some course development work – trying to concentrate on my PHD stuff…. bleh

Speaking of PHD stuff. I get a nice email today telling me my confimation of candiature cannot go through unless i have ethical clearance done. Ethical clearance is needed if you are going to be interviewing people or doing surveys. Anyway, i had assumed that since i wont be conducting interviews or anything until near the end of my research that i could wait a bit to get ethics done – im afraid not.

So now i have to do the ethics thing and get it in before i head down south next week to see my family.

Hopefully i can get it done. Im also hopeing this minor set back wont affect my scholorship.

In other news – i need a real job…..

    Yep, you have to get all that sorted out and organised now (the ethics stuff) – the worst thing is, it can take 1-2months to do. During honours I was going to interview someone, handed in the form, eventually ditched the interview anyway and forgot about it form, got an email 2 months later asking for more information :| – lucky i ditched it, or i’d probably just be finishing off honours now…..
