Great Southern Land

Im back!

After a 14hour flight i landed in Syndey around 7am sunday morning. The flight was rather uneventful. I got a window seat and sat next to a young asian girl and her mum, they didnt talk at all during the flight except for once when i asked them to move so i could go to the toilet.

I read a bit, listened to a lot of music and slept a bit. It wasnt so bad, but boring and cramped as usual.

Getting through customs was a bit of an ordeal. Since i had over $900 AUD worth of stuff i was brining back i had to go to the ‘goods to declare’ line. So ive lined up for what seemed like an eternity and finally got to the end of the line where the lady asked me what i had. I told her and she just waved me past. I walked straight through. Kind of surprising.

Jodie and Matt picked me up at the airport and drove me halfway to newcastle. Sheena and Bill and Harry picked me up from there and took me the rest of the way.

Harry is pretty cool. A little human who looks around and stuff. I think ive managed to teach him to stick his toungue out and make weird noises. Not sure if he learnt that or is just doing random movements

So yeah, currently im in Newcastle. Mum and Dad and Granny are apparently coming down here later in the week, so i guess ill drive back to inverell with them when they go back on the weekend. On the way through ive gotta fix up Aunty Sue, Nathan and Grants computer, somthing about a new HD and dvd burner *shrugs*

Not sure exactly when ill be heading back to Rockhampton, and probably wont type it on here cause im going to surprise Melanie and just turn up one day

I guess sometime next week, preferably the beginning of the week but ill see.

Thats about it, its good meeting Harry and catching up with everyone, but ill be glad to get back and see Melanie and have a shower and sleep in my own bed. Living out of a suitcase isnt that fun

righto, im thirsty, and should be getting to bed, been tired all day. bleh
