		<description>&lt;p&gt;I&#039;d gladly watch the shows I&#039;m into on TV if they aired them at the same time.  But they don&#039;t, so I will continue to download them.  Maybe when the ratings start to plummet dramatically the Australian networks will get the idea.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Part of the issue is the difference in Summer holidays between Australia and the US.  US shows usually end around May/June, and start up again in September - breaking for Summer.  Australian TV goes into it&#039;s &quot;No Ratings&quot; period from December-January, meaning if they were going to play shows as they were released, any ratings they gain woudn&#039;t count for much and they would probably lose a bunch of advertising revenue.&lt;/p&gt;
