A Lazy Weekend
So yeah, the weekend was spent reading, watching farenheit 9/11, and playing a few games - very laid back after my PHD confirmation talk last friday.
Books:
Spent most of the weekend reading.
The Subversion book is pretty good, im keen to get my hands dirty and set up a subversion server. - more on this later.

PHD Confirmation Presentation
Well i had it today… went alright although i got a bit of a pounding in the question session. Some dude that didnt really understand what i was doing was asking really weird questions…. bleh…
So.. turns out i need to rewrite some sections of my confirmation document *sigh* Ive got 4 weeks to do it…. [...]

I learnt today that the term ‘Calculus’ can refer to tarter build up on teeth near the gums.
